Opening Ceremony of Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) UP and UK Regional Girls' Basketball Tournament, 2023 (2023-08-18)

Dr. Virendra Swarup Public School, Cantt. had the privilege of hosting the Opening Ceremony of Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) UP and UK Regional Girls' Basketball Tournament, 2023 on behalf of Kanpur North Zone on 18th August, 2023. Honourable IPS Raveena Tyagi Ji, SP Traffic, Kanpur graced the event as the Chief Guest. She also addressed the students and shared a powerful motivational message with everyone present there. To add elegance to the occasion, various dignitaries were also present. Ma'am Vanita Mehrotra, Principal, Sheiling House School and Zone Coordinator - Kanpur North Zone, Father Melvin D'Souza, Principal, St Thomas School and Zone Coordinator - Kanpur South Zone and Mr Virendra Vikram Singh, U.P. Secretary, U.P. Basketball Association. All the dignitaries together inaugurated the event and declared Regional Girls' Basketball Tournament open. Ma'am V. Mehrotra also shared a few words of inspiration with the students. The ceremony came to an end successfully, thus, paving the way for the matches to begin.
