CISCE UP and UK Regional Girls' Baketball Tournament (2023-08-22)

It was a moment of immense pride for Dr Virendra Swarup Public School, Cantt to host CISCE UP and UK Regional Girls' Baketball Tournament on behalf of Kanpur North Zone on 18th and 19th August, 2023. 36 teams from 12 zones took part in the tournament. The tournament began after a splendid opening ceremony on 18th August, 2023 and culminated exquisitely with the closing ceremony on 19th August, 2023. Ma'am Vanita Mehrotra, Principal, Sheiling House School and Zone Coordinator - Kanpur North Zone graced the event with her presence. Students put forth a graceful dance performance to cheer up the participants. Dr S. Mandal, Principal, Dr VSPS, Cantt presented the trophies and medals to all the winners. She also shared a few words of inspiration, emphasizing on the need to imbibe qualities of discipline, sportsmanship spirit and to never be disappointed by failures in life. The event ended with a vote of thanks from the host school.
