Dr. Virendra Swarup Public School, Cantt, transformed into a hub of vibrant activity as it hosted the ASISC Regional Literary Events for the UP and UK regions. Among the array of literary competitions, the Inter-School Senior Debate and Declamation Competition stood as a captivating and thought-provoking event. Participants from diverse schools spanning the UP and UK regions converged to showcase their eloquence.The students showcased alluring speeches of renowned personalities with utmost precision, poise and voice modulation. Each participant performed his best to outdo the other but the flag of Kanpur kept flying high with Swaraj India Public School, Kanpur being declared as the winner of the senior declamation competition. The 2nd position was acquired by Holy Child School, Ghaziabad and the 3rd position was bagged by Gurukul Academy, Lucknow. The magic in the speeches of all the budding orators truly charmed the audience. The winners of the Senior Debate Competition are as follows: 2nd Runner-up: Nidhish Jain, St. Thomas School (Zone Meerut) 1st Runner-up: Gauri Yadav, City Montessori School, Lucknow (Zone Lucknow B) Winner: Pavitra Khatri, Virendra Swarup Education Centre, Kidwai Nagar, Kanpur (Zone Kanpur South). This event was a celebration of intellectual prowess and eloquence, leaving a profound impact that will resonate for years to come. An eminent panel of judges, including Mr. Tripti Golder, Mrs. Sangeeta Goswami, and Mrs. Rashmi Pandey, graciously lent their ears to these young talents, offering valuable insights and guidance. The participants, with remarkable grace, delivered speeches embodying the voices of renowned personalities from the annals of history. This event bore fruit through the diligent and competent leadership of our respected Principal, Dr. S. Mandal, who consistently pours her hard work and dedication into every endeavor. The occasion was further graced by the presence of Ms. Nirmala Joseph, the esteemed Principal of Dr. Virendra Swarup Memorial Public School, Civil Lines. The event's seamless execution was overseen by Ms. Richa Khullar, Headmistress of Dr. V.S.P.S, Cantt.
